Timelapses
Timelapses were the perfect gateway into video for me — they taught me patience, rhythm, and how to find movement in stillness. Watching a scene transform over time helped me understand storytelling through motion, one frame at a time. Timelapses work great for social because you can think like a photographer but still utilize the algorithm through the motion of reels and gifs.
Motion Captures
I helped produce multiple ESPN8 (The Ocho) US Air Guitar National Championships through planning, photography, and creating motion graphics for competitor intros at the 2021 Nationals in Chicago. Studio setup, model direction, shooting, and color grading were assigned to me. US Air Guitar collaborated with a local production team to produce the final result, which aired on ESPN. Working with US Air Guitar on these events gave me insight into pre-production, on-set, and post-production work for well-known brands, such as ESPN.
Reviews At Home
During the early days of the pandemic, I helped shoot at-home movie reviews for my partner's Saturday segments on KCTV5. I was in charge of lighting, composing, and shooting the video, while he handled the post-processing.
Instructional
& Educational
Because of the unique nature of Plastic Surgery, I've often been tasked with creating educational and instructional videos for patient education, research, and outreach during my time at KU Medical Center. These projects have varied in length and purpose — but in every case, I managed the full process from scripting to post-production.
Note: Videos are not meant as medical treatment, and any patients depicted have media consent or are actors.
Social
From trending audios and subtle photo animations to “come shop with me” reels, I create short-form social videos that punch above their weight—capturing wide audiences and connecting them to the brands they love.
